"The rise of a student"
The battle field is covered with Alliance ninja bodies.
We see Kakashi, Guy, and Sai fighting in Zetsu clones that have arrived while trying to get to the Edo’s.
Kakashi swinging his sword through a Zetsu, “they seemed to come from no where. “
Guy, ”the power of youth Is tested today hey my life time rival?”
He kicks a Zetsu sending it flying into another.
We now see Lee in front of sakura as if protecting her.
Sakura, ”Lee I can handle myself, I don’t need you to protect me”
Lee punching a Zetsu, “it is for the success of the mission. If you go down who will heal he wounded? This must be done, besides it is what Naruto would do as well.”
Sakura, “But you can’t be like Naruto in every way Lee.”
Lee, “not in every way.”
Flashback.
We See Naruto and Lee sparing, with Naruto in sage mode.
They stop with lee out of breath, “Amazing Naruto, I hit you with my hardest blows bu they did not phase you.”
Naruto, “yeah that’s sage mode, it also improves my Taijutsu and Rasengan as well. There are even jutsu specifically for Sage mode, but i haven’t THAT far yet.”
Lee, “I wish I could achieve such a goal. Lee the Toad Sage.”
Naruto “uhm, well I don’t know about that but why don’t you ask that old turtle guy Sensei was riding that day you fought Sasuke? He might know some tricks”
Present.
The swords man wielding the hammer strikes near Sakura and Lee. Creating a crater and blowing them a few yards a way.
Lee getting up, “Are you okay, Sakura?”
Sakura whipping dirt away, “yes I am okay.”
Suddenly they are hit with a bolt of lightning. They scream in agony, both are smoking from the attack and laying on the ground.
Sakura, “run Lee, you are faster than I am get help or just save yourself. I will do my best to hold them off.”
Lee getting in with his body scorched and bandages ripped, “No. That is NOT an option.”
Kabu & Kiba stand before him ready to attack. They are both smiling at Lee and Sakura.
Lee suddenly appears in front of them kicking Kiba(lightning guy) knocking him away. He lands then appears behind Kiba(blunt sword) as he lands on his hands he does a spinning kick .
Kabu, “haha haha, you think those taps hurt me? I smash thru any defense, my defense is superior to all.”
Lee thinking, “my attacks don’t hurt him, no matter how fast I admit won’t matter if I can’t hurt him.”
Suddenly he stabbed by Kiba thru his back.
Sakura, “Lee!”
Lee falls face down motionless.
Kiba, “you have been paralyzed my friend you will slowly bleed out and die, if your lucky.”
Sakura, “lee, dammit I told you to run.”
Kabu & Kiba are getting closer to her walking over Lee.
Naruto and Bee inside the turtle cave.
Naruto is in Sage mode, ‘it’s not working, I was hoping I could pull from the 9 tails while I was in Sage mode cause I can sense chakra easily.”
Bee, “that was a good Idea that didn’t work, but don’t give up or you will be a jerk.”
Naruto, “wait, what, who Is that? It can’t be this is serious.”
Bee looking confused.
Naruto looking around, “This cave is alive it is full of life chakra, But that isn’t the problem, out side
I can sense myself? Not me exactly but and lee? But what I am sensing doesn’t make sense it would mean that …”
Focusing on Sakura’s eyes, she is looking up at the Edos.
Kiba, “well she sure is useless. Not putting up a fight at all.”
Kabu, “yes well no matter. She dies here.”
He begins a swing from over his head.
Kiba jumps back out of range.
The sword comes down causing a huge crash and cloud of smoke.
Sakura looks shocked, as does the Edo.
The sword is resting on Lee’s head as he has an angry look.
His clothing now resembles the samurai. But the pads on his shoulders, knees and elbows resemble turtle shells. His jump suit is black with his belt dark green.
Naruto, “Lee is a Sage!”
Next issue “Lee the Turtle Sage”
